Джерри наделил образ Фантома человечностью и передал всю боль, отверженность через потрясающую актерскую игру и пение. Я видела и слышала много версий Фантома. Рамин Каримлу к примеру прекрасен, но его оперные вибрато делают слишком совершенным его голос, что лишает персонаж естественности, он перестаёт быть живым, реальным. Вокал Джерарда рычащий, живой, бархатный, роковый потрясающе передаёт все полутона его чувств. И то с каким уважением Джерри относится к своему персонажу, как будто к живому человеку, делает его профессионалом самого высокого уровня. Именно таким должен быть актёр. То как он воплотил Эрика - это волшебство. Безгранично восхищаюсь и люблю его. Джерри мой самый любимый Фантом на все времена. ❤

Joe Perry is the real deal. He never puts on a show when he's speaking, he's quite real and he seems to get along with everybody. When Aerosmith and Queen were on the same bill, both bands were arguing as to who was going to go on first. The exception was Joe Perry, he and Brian May decided to go for a drink and let the other band members fight. He said it didn't matter to him who went on first.

Great interview, remember when it aired and also taped t on VHS! I have always wondered what would of happened if they would of done that musical film with Michael Crawford-would of been epic I think! Also they would of kept stuff from stage to screen like when Phantom uses staff that shoots out fireballs from its eyes etc.....

She's so mature and well-spoken during the interview. It's only at the end when she has her giddy little fangirl moment over getting to kiss two gorgeous men that you remember that, (at the time of the interview,) she was actually a teenage girl! She was only 16 or 17 during filming.
